Mandatory Dress Policy 2010-2011

Pants

• Uniform style-classic length trousers; no denim, corduroy or spandex. All pants must be worn at waist.  NO SAGGING pants or pants worn below the waist will be permitted.
• Solid khaki color-traditional or sand, no gray or dark brown.
• Worn at waist, no jean style or hip huggers
• Pants, shorts, Capri pants must have belt loops
• NO Patch pockets or cargo pants.  No pants with large pockets on the side, front or back.  Pockets must be in-seam pockets attached to the side seam.
• Must be hemmed- no slits, man-made or manufactured.
• NO rivets.

Skirts/Shorts/Capris

• Males may wear knee-length khaki shorts.  No shorts permitted longer than knee-length.
• Females may wear khaki Bermuda Style Shorts or Capri style pants. MUST FIT PROPERLY
• Skirts-solid color khaki (sand or traditional) or plaids (style 143 box pleat/plaid 43) Skirts must be NO SHORTER than 1" above the knee. Shorts must be worn under skirts.
• Skorts are permitted.

Shirts

• White Oxford Style button down collar.  Short or long sleeve.  No polo style accepted.
• Monogrammed school crest is OPTIONAL.
• ALL shirt tails MUST be of proper length to TUCK IN.  Shirt tails MUST remain TUCKED IN pants, shorts, skirts, skorts and capris.

Outerwear-solid color only

• SOLID CRIMSON, WHITE, GRAY, BLACK OR GOLD, with NO ADDITIONAL COLORS OR LOGOS on the jacket, sweater or sweatshirt. School logo is the only logo acceptable.
• CHS letterman jacket or Team sponsored jacket is acceptable.
• NO multiple color outer wear will be accepted at any time on campus.
• NO hats, caps, or other head coverings are to be worn at any time on campus.
• NO trench coats/overcoats.

Undershirts- White Only

• Solid white t-shirts and camisoles ONLY.
• No COLORED UNDERSHIRTS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED.  WHITE ONLY

Shoes/Socks-solid color only

• One color, no shoes with two or more colors. BROWN SHOES-SOLID IN COLOR.
• NO ATHLETIC OR TENNIS STYLE SHOES ALLOWED.
• NO MULES, SANDALS, BACKLESS (slides), or TOE-OUT SHOES.  Must have a heel.
• Socks- solid white, black or brown- ONLY.
• Shoe strings- solid color only, matching shoes.  No multi color shoe strings.  Shoes MUST be tied.

Belts

• Black or brown ONLY.  No multi color belts.  Must be worn in loops, end of belt must not hang below the waist.
• Plain belt buckles ONLY. No symbols, names or insignias allowed on buckles.

Piercings

·       NO facial piercings other than ears.  Studs or hoops only. NO LARGER THAN A QUARTER
